Pokemon is a huge milestone in my childhood. It came out when I was 8 years old, and I jumped right on the bandwagon. I still have my original Gameboy I played red and blue on for hours and hours. I begged my mom for a Gameboy Color when Yellow came out. Times have changed a lot since then for Pokemon, but it's still the same at heart. Amazingly addicting - because you seriously have to catch them all.
This ABC is as follows:
A - Arbok
B - Bulbasaur
C - Charmander
D - Diglett
E - Eevee
F - Flareon
G - Golduck
H - Horsea
I - Ivysaur
J - Jigglypugg
K - Kingler
L - Leafeon
M - Magikarp
N - Ninetails
O - Oddish
P - Pikachu
Q - Quilava
R - Ratata
S - Staryu
T - Tangela
U - Umbreon
V - Vileplume
W - Weedle
X - Xatu
Y - Yanma
Z - Zubat
I tried to keep to the original 151 as much as possible, since that's where I get all nostalgic and gooey inside! But there's a special place in my heart for the newer ones, too!
This pattern takes 34 colors, and is about 9 x 16.5" when done on 14 count aida. It's a bit more for those going slow and steady. There's nothing too hard about it, it will just take a bit of time! There is full stitching and quite a bit of back stitching involved (in all the names!) Go for it!
This is a free cross stitch pattern download for public use, not intended for sale or resale. This is a fan made creation for everyone to enjoy!

I'm making this for my son's bedroom. It's pokemon themed!:)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this pattern. I made one for my soon to be grandbaby, whose parents are pokemon fanatics. I used the icons and names in the border, and in the centre of the blanket wrote in pokemon font "I Choose You", with a pokeball. Very happy with the results! Thanks again for the wonderful idea.
